| A simplified home lifestyle
is the most appealing reason. Condo owners claim the most
maintenance-free form of home ownership, ideal for young
active people, busy professionals and retirees. Because
our possessions can sometimes possess us, home ownership
is seen by some as a burden. Many people end up devoting
more time to the care of their homes than their own health
and leisure. Renting an apartment by contrast poses serious
constraints. You may be required to leave at any time and
any upgrades or personalization of your dwelling is at the
landlord’s discretion, and is hardly economically justified.
Not so with condo living. In some ways, it is the best of
both worlds. Keeping the grass trim, clearing the eaves
troughs, shoveling the snow or even painting the windows
are a thing of the past. You can confidently invest in making
your condo an expression of your own tastes. And condo owners
often simply just lock the doors to leave at will, sometimes
for weeks on end, with virtually no preparation of the home.
Use this freedom to travel spontaneously, exercise more
frequently, or visit more often with friends and family.
Remember, time is the most valuable commodity!
